    Amazing Chili Dogs and fries. I've been coming here for a few years, and it's consistently great. The owner and all of the staff are really friendly. They told us when we were in yesterday that they just started selling on Uber Eats, as well, which is fantastic.

    I went to check it out as the best breakfast spot in town recently closed. I believe the cook went and opened up Dave's for breakfast. I will be going back for sure. It's just a little flat grill operation. The key is they make a normal breakfast sandwich. No microwave. The bread was fresh. If you're in South Amboy and just want a Taylor Ham egg and cheese without rude counter people or microwaved eggs then this is the spot. The potatoes were pretty good as well. The bacon and egg I got was loaded up nicely. Only 2 slices of Taylor Ham on the TEC but still good. The only thing I would want is some kind of baked goods on the counter as well. They don't open until 7 on weekends so early workers are beat. Definitely reccomend if you're in the market for a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was fresh and tasty too. PS: I've never had rubber hot dogs but I will soon. The cook is super friendly and the place is clean
